Fraunhofer expert discusses e-health innovations at conference

From personalized medicine to complex hospital management, digital transformation is opening up new possibilities in healthcare. For example, the joint project ATMoSPHÄRE is developing regionally applicable solutions for the care of people with multimorbid diseases. As part of the project, the experts from the Fraunhofer IMW Price and Service Management unit are focusing on the user and market orientation of the planned online medical technology platform. Dr. Marija Radic, head of the Price and Service Management unit, will discuss expertise she has gained through this and other e-Health projects as part of the "Digital Health – Gesundheit neu denken. Wie Vernetzung das Gesundheitswesen verändert“ („Digital Health – New Health Thinking. How networking has changed the nature of health care“) conference taking place on 26 and 27 September 2017. The event is dedicated to the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in healthcare, and was organized by, among others, the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper. Actors from the medical technology sector, health insurance companies, app developers and software developers have been invited to participate in discussions on the topic of digital health.
