Andhra Pradesh Development Board signs Cooperation Agreement with Fraunhofer IMW

On 25 April 2018, J. Krishna Kishore, CEO of the Andhra Pradesh Development Board in India, visited the Leipzig Fraunhofer Center. During the visit, JProf. Dr. Tobias Dauth, Head of the Regional Positioning and Location Development Unit, accompanied Mr. Kishore on visits of the BMW plant, the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW and the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI.

On April 23, 2018, J. Krishna Kishore, CEO of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (AP EDP), and his team visited the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft stand at the Hannover Messe.

Cooperation with Andhra Pradesh intensifies

The cooperation between Fraunhofer IMW and the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh is set to intensify. On April 23, 2018, Institute Director Prof. Dr. Thorsten Posselt and JProf. Dr. Tobias Dauth, Head of the Regional Positioning and Location Development Unit, will visit the Hannover Messe. There, at the booth of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, a cooperation agreement between the Fraunhofer IMW and the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board will be signed. On Wednesday, the Fraunhofer IMW will welcome Mr. Krishna Kishore, the CEO of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board, and his team as guests in Leipzig. In addition to a guided tour of the Fraunhofer IMW premises, Dr. Dauth will also accompany the group on visits to the Fraunhofer IZI and the BMW plant.

Guidelines for vocational training exporters

The Leipzig Fraunhofer center has developed nine practice-oriented guidelines within the scope of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) meta-project on the key funding area "Vocational training export by German educational service providers". They will help German educational service providers to develop and market needs-oriented vocational training offers. Also available is an Excel-based calculation tool that illustrates various areas of corporate budgeting.
