Dipl. Betriebswirt (FH) Oliver Krahl joined the Innovation Financing Unit at the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW on 7 September 2015. Prior to this, he worked in the fields of start-up funding and microfinancing within the scope of projects funded by the ESF for several years. He also has professional experience as a subproject manager in a regulatory environment (credit risk stress tests) for Commerzbank AG. This work resulted in a series of scientific publications. Before that, he was a research associate at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences, where he coordinated the change from ordinary to Bachelor's / Master's degree courses. His experiences in advising SMEs and regional stakeholders on the design of alternative financing models stem from his simultaneous respective activities in a self-employed capacity; he has also worked as an entrepreneurship lecturer and tutor.
