Partner of the Leibniz ScienceCampus “Eastern Europe – Global Area” (EEGA)

The Fraunhofer IMW is a founding member and partner of the Leibniz ScienceCampus “Eastern Europe – Global Area” (EEGA). In the science region of Leipzig – Halle – Jena, the ScienceCampus is providing support for researchers from 2016 through 2020 with new research perspectives on Eastern Europe.

Partner of the FALKE - Research Alliance Cultural Heritage

The signing of a memorandum of understanding in Berlin in 2008 launched the interdisciplinary research alliance cultural heritage FALKE as a joint initiative of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the Leibniz-Gemeinschaft, and the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. The Fraunhofer IMW is among its founding members. The aim of the alliance is to jointly develop and test new approaches and methods for the restoration and conservation of cultural artifacts and to further embed the significance of cultural heritage in the public consciousness.

Partner of the Initiative Mittelstand

The Director of the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Dr. Thorsten Posselt, is a member of the jury of the INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT (IT INNOVATION AWARD).

Fraunhofer Sustainability Network

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft attributes great significance to the topic of sustainability, and has launched the Sustainability Network in 2009. The Network currently comprises more than 19 Fraunhofer Institutes, with the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW among the founding members.
