This gives learners the chance to gain practical, on the job experience which can take the form of a compulsory internship within the context of studies or a voluntary internship. The International Summer Internship Program
Between the months of June and September, the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy also offers special internship positions for a duration of up to three months. These summer internships are part of the structured and dynamic 'International Summer Internship Program'. During this time, students from all over the world can apply to participate in either a Research Internship, which focuses on analyzing complex and interdisciplinary research questions, or a Project Internship, which is oriented towards project organization and direct customer contact.
We are looking for highly qualified, highly motivated international students with a strong interest in questions related to the global knowledge economy, international business management, innovation policy, and technology transfer. Applicants should display an independent and effective working style, along with the ability to work under pressure in an international and intercultural environment. Strong English proficiency is required. Further requirements are listed in individual internship descriptions posted during the application period.
The Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy's International Summer Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for international students to participate in the activities of one of Germany’s leading research institutions.
