Dr. Christian Leyh has been working at Fraunhofer IMW as team leader for Digital Transformation in the project Data Mining and Value Creation since April 2019. At the same time, he is working as a Postdoc at the Chair of Information Systems, especially Information Systems in Industry and Trade at the TU Dresden with the goal of habilitation. In 2014 he obtained his doctorate on the topic "Success factors in the introduction of ERP systems in small and medium-sized enterprises and their implications for university teaching" at this same chair. Based on the results of his dissertation, he developed, among other things, a process model that can support SMEs in the selection and introduction of ERP systems. Prior to his doctorate, he completed a degree in Business Informatics at the Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences and a Master of Business and Engineering at the Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation in Berlin. His current research focuses on the field of digitalization and the associated challenges for companies, in particular on looking at the state of digitalization of companies from different organizational perspectives.
