Valentin Knitsch studied philosophy, political science and sociology in Dresden and Leipzig. In his scientific work, he dealt with the problems of current multidisciplinary research debates. In doing so, he examined the possibilities and limitations of networked research in complex actor and perspective structures. His other research interests include the importance and impact of the use of modern technologies for the research process, as well as the description and evaluation of the associated changes in science. Mr. Knitsch has already worked as a research fellow at the Fraunhofer IMW in Leipzig and was involved in the projects Agent-3D and Future-Forward Space 2040.
