Experience
Miriam Amin has been a research fellow in the “Data Science for Innovation“ unit at the Fraunhofer IMW since November 2021. Prior to her master’s degree in Digital Humanities at Leipzig University, she already worked as a research assistant at Fraunhofer IMW since 2017. During her studies, she worked as a Data Scientist in various interdisciplinary research projects, including cooperations with the Leibniz Institute for the German Language in Mannheim and the Egyptological Institute of Leipzig University.
Theoretically founded by a minor in linguistics, Miriam Amin is mainly interested in machine learning with language data and the numerous applications of Natural Language Processing.
