AGENT-3D Basis Framework conditions for additive-generative manufacturing (BMBF)

The AGENT-3D Basis project investigates potential future developments for the dissemination of additive-generative manufacturing and for new forms of value creation. Together with other Fraunhofer institutes and research and industrial partners from the AGENT-3D alliance, the Professionalizing Transfer Processes unit project team is developing future scenarios for the industrial application of generative manufacturing processes. The results will serve as the decision-making basis for the strategic planning and further development of the alliance's roadmap.

The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) within the scope of the “Zwanzig20 – Partnerschaft für Innovation” innovation sponsoring program. The collaborative project started in December 2015 and will finish in November 2018.
