Professional Development
Valerie Daldrup is an economist with many years of work experience in the fields of business, start-up and innovation promotion. She has been working at Fraunhofer IMW in the “Innovation Financing Unit“ since May 2017. The focus of her work includes the use of crowd-based instruments in knowledge and technology transfer and the accompanying analysis of new organizational and cooperation models as well as financing instruments for knowledge and technology transfer.
At the same time, she works at the Service Center for Research & Transfer of the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, where she supports the internationalization process. Previously, she worked as an advisor in the field of innovation management for companies and business development institutions in Germany and Switzerland. During this time, she has been the German representative of the EY "Think Tank for Business Performance & Innovation" and editor of the German-language edition of the journal "Performance" on various innovation topics. She also worked for the Federation of German Industries and the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business.
