Accelerator program accelerapp

The core function of the accelerator program is to analyze research and business development processes (Research to Business to Market). We identify drivers, barriers and opportunities to exploit their potential for market-driven utilization.

We offer knowledge, cooperation and a project platform for international business, research and politics. For our customers and partners both at home and abroad we facilitate international project cooperation and contribute towards their international networking efforts in research and in business projects. Our program is closely linked with other technological Fraunhofer institutes, public organizations and business representatives in Germany and abroad.

Through the accelerator program we support innovation proprietors (start-ups, spin-offs, SMEs, large enterprises, associations, research institutes, universities) in the identification, evaluation and development of new market opportunities for their technologies, products and services in international innovation ecosystems.

We provide innovation developers (research consortia) with the people and business management tools to help them establish their market driven projects and skills and to then successfully execute these in international research and economic systems (example project: SIMS).

We advise and assist innovation sponsors (research, education and economic development actors) in the process of investigating the potentials for international business and research development as well as to stimulate new measures.
