Experience

Dr. Manuela Koch-Rogge has been working at the Fraunhofer IMW as a research fellow in the Digital Health Unit (until 06/2022: Price and Service Management Unit) since September 2021.

Prior to her commencment at Fraunhofer IMW she studied Economics at the Harz University of Applied Sciences and Data Science at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. As part of her doctoral studies at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK, she researched ways to objectively measure service performance, taking into account non-monetary and intangible factors. In this context, she also dealt with the opportunities and risks of the digitization of services in the banking sector, among others.

As part of her work at the Fraunhofer IMW, Dr. Manuela Koch-Rogge conducts research on the use of business analytics and business intelligence to support data-driven decisions for corporate management. In particular, her focus is on the analysis of the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the development, implementation and evaluation of adaptive BI structures for these companies. Another focus of her activities is on broadening the empirical data base on the use of business intelligence systems (BIS) and the impact of data-driven decisions on corporate key figures and performance.
