The Science Colloquium at Fraunhofer IMW promotes scientific exchange at the institute, sets new methodological impulses and gives researchers the opportunity to discuss their own research and doctoral projects or publications in an interdisciplinary manner. The colloquium has been taking place once a month – every third Tuesday – since 2018. It is aimed at young researchers, especially PhD students, as well as experienced researchers and all other interested parties. It provides a platform for systematized and regular scientific exchange at Fraunhofer IMW. External speakers are also regularly invited to the events. Topics such as innovation through crowdsourcing, research data, lean PHD, platform economy, artificial intelligence in business or citizen science have shaped the content of the Science Colloquium in recent years.
If you would like to present and discuss a contribution from your research at the Fraunhofer IMW Science Colloquium, please contact Dr. Juliane Welz, Dr. Anna Wachsmuth-Pohle or Dr. Christine Richter with your proposal. Travel expenses can be covered upon request.
