Since November 2015, Dr. Anna Wachsmuth-Pohle has worked at the Fraunhofer IMW in Leipzig as a research fellow, receiving support from the Fraunhofer TALENTAstart program. Ms. Pohle was also previously employed at the Leipzig institute in the capacity of research assistant. She has just received her doctoral title with a thesis on the topic “Success Factors and the Economic Importance of Standards and Norms within the Framework of Industry 4.0“ and in 2015 completed her master's degree in Business Administration at the Martin-Luther University Halle (Saale) (MLU). Throughout the course of her studies, Ms. Pohle has focused on the topics of (social) innovation and entrepreneurship, and has dedicated herself to undertaking projects using the Design Thinking Principle. As an assistant researcher at the Chair of Statistics at the MLU Halle, Ms. Pohle provided support to a third-party project on the topic of poverty participation in Saxony-Anhalt.
Since July 2021, Dr. Anna Wachsmuth-Pohle is Head of the Innovation Policy and Transfer Design Unit.
In addition, together with Dr. Anna Wachsmuth-Pohle and Dr. Christine Richter, she chairs the Fraunhofer IMW Science Colloquium.
