VISUAL – Systematic exploitation of socio-technological and economic research results

Background

The VISUAL project, undertaken by the Leipzig Fraunhofer Center and the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, has developed new tools for the exploitation of research results. These tools help scientists to transfer their research results into practice.

Project goals

From 2016 to 2018, the project partners developed suitable methods and instruments for the systematic exploitation of socio-economic research results. They understood and designed the exploitation process as a combination of visualization and problem-solving processes. The project consisted of two subprojects, which were carried out by the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy in Leipzig (Part 1) and the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin (Part 2).
