Since May 2018, Sarah Neuschl has worked at the Fraunhofer Center in Leipzig as a research fellow for the Professional Development and Competence Management Unit, which she previously supported as a research assistant starting in April 2017. Her education includes a degree in Business Administration (BA) from HTWK Leipzig and a Master of Business Administration (MSc) with a focus on marketing, distribution, and services from Leipzig University. She completed her studies with her master’s thesis, “Patient Empowerment in the Context of Digital Health Applications for Consumers“. Sarah Neuschl gained considerable project experience during her studies, including in collaboration with a research group at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research. While there, she worked on developing local recycling strategies for decentralized waste recycling plants. At Fraunhofer IMW, Sarah Neuschl is involved in project initiatives for innovative competence management (in support of preventive occupational health and safety) as well as tailor-made teaching and training concepts for the future working world (particularly in the realm of human-robot collaboration). Since June 2018, she has primarily pursued these research actions within the »Data Mining and Value Creation« digital project.
