Professional development
Dr. Andrea Weiße has been working as a Research Fellow at the Fraunhofer IMW branch office in Halle (Saale) at the Center for Economics and Management of Technologies CEM Unit since October 2023. Her scientific background includes a Bachelor's degree in Applied Natural Sciences with a focus on biotechnology and a Master's degree in chemistry with a focus on organic chemistry at Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg. After her studies, Andrea Weiße completed her doctorate at University of Freiberg at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, where she carried out experimental research in the fields of supramolecular and medicinal chemistry as well as organic synthesis and crystallography.
