Experience
Since May 2019, Norman Bedtke has been working at Fraunhofer IMW in Leipzig as a research fellow in the Crowd Innovation Unit (from January 1, 2025, part of Fraunhofer ISI). Prior to that, he studied economics at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena with a focus on innovation economics, graduating in 2009 with a degree in economics. In his subsequent work as a researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig, he focused on social scientific water research. In his doctoral thesis, he analyzed the transformation of network-connected infrastructure systems using the example of German water management from an institutional economic perspective.
