Professional development
Martina Hamingerova works as a research fellow at Fraunhofer IMW in the Data and Platform Based Value Creation Unit. The focus of her research lies in the areas of strategic organizational development,
digital transformation and business model innovation. Previously, she coordinated digitization projects in the units Digital Health and Business Models: Engineering and Innovationas part of the Mittelstand-Digital initiative by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. The main focus of the project was supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in their digital transformation by developing concepts and conducting workshops and pilot projects on digitization potentials in value chains.
Martina Hamingerova studied International Management at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK Leipzig) and Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, Distribution and Services at the Leipzig University. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant at Fraunhofer IMW in Leipzig and at the Max Planck Institute for Economics in Jena.
